A wide range of activities have been arranged

Summer Festivities events have been organised through July
& August including Photo Exhibitions, Art Exhibitions
and musical events.

Medieval
Fayre - Saturday
21st June 2008
Venue: Soaperie Gardens, Kirkcudbright. 10am to 4pm
The 2007 Medieval Fayre was a great family fun day with entertainment
and all sorts of activities for the young and not so young..
There was also a good selection of craft and jumble tables.
There was an excellent turnout and a great day was had by
all. We plan to make the 2008 Fayre even better.

Children's Festival - Sunday 6th July,

The Galloway Children's Festival is an important
and eagerly awaited event in Kirkcudbright's ever-increasing
collection of summertime events. With all kinds of entertainment
for children of all ages With all kinds of entertainment for
children of all ages including story-telling, music, play-acting,
clowns and rides there is plenty to hold their attention and
fascination over the day.

Adventure playground, indoor play, family bike tracks, miles
of nature trails and wildlife spotting. Daily farm tours and
ice cream tasting events. Luxury ice cream, delicious meals
and snacks.
The
Wickerman Festival 2008
25th - 26th July 2008
Winner of the UK Best Grass Roots Festival Award
2007, the festival takes its inspiration from the 70s cult
movie , filmed in Dumfries & Galloway, which climaxes
with the burning os a giant wickerman.
